Position: Software Engineer, TSG Regional Services

Position Summary:


This position works as a member of the team that develops internal applications or enhances or maintains existing systems, specifically: designing, developing and implementing financial and administrative applications used in all offices. The primary technologies used are Microsoft SQL Server, VB.Net. C#.Net and ASP.Net. Should possess hands on experience on Jquery, Linq and Json.
Skills & Education Required:
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field
* Proven aptitude for software development
* 2 to 3 years of relevant applications development experience in the Microsoft Windows environment, including Visual Basic and SQL compliant databases required.
* Experience with SQL Server 2005 database management required.
* The primary technologies used are Microsoft SQL Server, VB.Net. C#.Net and ASP.Net.
* Previous use of version control software like TFS (team foundation server) preferred.
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* High performance and standards as demonstrated by academic or previous job experience
* Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) preferred, but not required.
* Flexible working hours to provide overlap with customers and TSG peers in Boston and North America (that is, work until 20:00 most evenings, with a corresponding later morning start time)
* New Delhi/Gurgaon/Noida based is preferred

Job Responsibilities


* Participate in teams working to develop new applications based on specifications developed by the customer working with the TSG Project Manager and Development Manager.
* Develop applications using the .Net Framework, VB.Net, C#.Net, ASP.Net and/or Microsoft SQL Server, based on the needs of the users
* Should have hands on experience on Jquery/Linq/Json.
* Participate in the testing and implementation of applications.
* Program modifications to existing applications based on user requests and TSG requirements specifications
* Provide ongoing support for applications already in use. This includes problem diagnosis and resolution, ad hoc reporting support and database administration and
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
